The story revolves around the four players being scammed out of their money by pirates.
The co-op campaign will have its own story that is set six months before the events of the single-player campaign.
Playable characters include Callum the Scottish thug, Leanard the crooked cop, Mikhail the Russian hitman, and Tisha the ex-soldier. The co-op game mode will be available to play online, as well as locally through split-screen. The release date for Far Cry 3 is right around the corner, and Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the game that showcases the co-operative campaign mode of the game.
